Mr. Kizis is a Registered Geologist with a B.S. in Geology from Kent State University and an M.S. in Geology from the University of Colorado. He has 35 years of experience in exploration for gold, silver, copper, molybdenum, lead, zinc, and uranium in the U.S., Canada and abroad. He is the President and a director of Bravo Gold Corp., Bravada Gold Corporation and previously of Fortune River Resource Corp. (which amalgamated with Bravada Gold Corporation in 2011). Mr. Kizis has held previous executive positions with Fairmile GoldTech, Sierra Geothermal, the Geological Society of Nevada, and the GSN Foundation.
Lawrence Page obtained his law degree from the University of British Columbia in 1964 and was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 1965 where he has practiced in the areas of natural resource law and corporate and securities law to the present date. Through his experience with natural resource companies and, in particular, precious metals development, Mr. Page has established a unique relationship with financiers, geologists and consultants and has been counsel for public Companies which have discovered and developed producing mines in North America. Specifically, he has been a Director and Officer of Companies which have discovered and brought into production the David Bell and Page Williams mines in Ontario, the Snip, Calpine/Eskay Creek and Mascot Gold Mines in British Columbia, as well as the discovery of the Penasquito Mine in Mexico.
Mr. Page is the principal of the Manex Resource Group of Vancouver which provides administrative, financial, corporate, corporate finance and geological services to a number of public companies in the mineral resource sector. He currently serves as a director of six public companies, including Bravo Gold Corporation, Duncastle Gold Corp., Bravada Gold Corporation, Quaterra Resources Inc., Southern Silver Exploration Corp. and Valterra Resource Corporation.
Mahesh Liyanage joins the Company with over 15 years of experience in public practice and industry. He is a Chartered Accountant and has headed finance and audit teams nationally and internationally. He started his career with BDO Burah Hathy Sri Lanka and held a supervisory role leading audits in manufacturing, banking, and natural resource industries. Before moving to McDonald’s Fiji as head of finance he served as controller for a garment manufacturing company which catered to the North American market. In McDonald’s Fiji he pioneered the implementation of accounting systems and revitalized office structures, document flows and inter-department relationships in order to achieve excellence and profitability. Mahesh Liyanage is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia as well as the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, Society of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka and Fiji Institute of Accountants.
Mr. MacDonald is a member of the Manex Resource Group of Companies and, in such capacity, since 2003 he has been the Project Geologist managing the exploration program at the Company’s Homestake Ridge project where the project has developed from an early stage exploration target into a significant gold and silver resource. Mr. Macdonald graduated with a B.Sc. from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1990 and earned a MSc. from the University of British Columbia in 1999. Over his career in the geosciences Mr. Macdonald's work has focused on vein and intrusion-related gold systems and VMS environments. Prior to joining Bravo, Mr. Macdonald worked as a geologist with the British Columbia Geological Survey and Teck Exploration on projects in Alaska, Peru and British Columbia.
Mr. Sveinson is a professional mining engineer with more than 40 years experience in all stages of mine development at operations ranging in size from 100 to 2,000 tonnes per day in Canada, the US, South America and Africa. His experience includes permitting and regulatory governmental dealing and involvement with First Nations negotiations in British Columbia as well as finance negotiations for exploration and mine development on a national and international level. His senior positions have included General Manager of Echo Bay's Lupin and Sunnyside operations, and Vice-President of Tonto Mining and Dynatec Mining. Most recently, from 2004 to 2010, he was President and CEO of Merit Mining Corp., a Vancouver-based company with two advanced-stage mining projects, including underground operations and a mill at Greenwood, BC. In 2005, as President and CEO of Gold City Industries Ltd, he was instrumental in acquiring the Bissett gold mining assets in Manitoba and merging the JV partners into San Gold Corporation, which now has a market capitalization of over one billion dollars.
Declan Costelloe serves as a director of Bravo Gold Corp. Mr. Costelloe currently serves as President of Celtic Mining Ltd., an independent mining consulting firm. In 2007 he served as portfolio manager of the Goldfish Fund, a Colorado-based investment fund with a diversified portfolio primarily directed at the mining and natural resource exploration and development field. From 2003 to 2006, Mr. Costelloe served as an investment manager with Veneroso Associates Gold Advisors (“VAGA”), an investment company focused on the gold industry, prior to which he served as research director of VAGA from 2000 to 2003. Mr. Costelloe is a chartered engineer (UK Engineering Council) and a mining geologist with over 20 years experience. He holds a B.Sc. in geology from University College, Galway, and a B.Sc. in mining geology from the University of Wales College. Mr. Costelloe also currently serves as a director of U.S. Gold Corporation (TSX: UXG), Alexandria Minerals Corporation (TSXV: AZX) and VG Gold Corp. (TSX: VG).
Mr. Beardslee retired from the U.S. Air Force as an information systems director in 1986, and retired from The Boeing Company as an engineering manager in 2002. He has been involved the mineral exploration on Woewodski Island in Southeast Alaska for more than 20 years. He has previously served as treasurer, then president of the Boeing Employees’ Flying Association.
Mr. Eyton is a Chartered Accountant and currently Chief Financial Officer of Penninsula Merchant Syndications Corp. Prior to his appointment at Penninsula he was a partner with Topping Eyton Partners, a public accounting firm in Vancouver, a private practice from which he has recently retired. His professional career encompasses depth in financial, regulatory and compliance matters across many sectors including mining. Mr. Eyton graduated in business administration from Lakehead University in 1967, obtaining the designation of chartered accountant in 1971 and was elected to the fellowship of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of B.C. in 1983. Mr. Eyton also completed the Institute of Corporate Directors program in 2008 and was awarded the designation of ICD.D.
Mr. Thorsen has had an extensive history in the mining business since 1962 during which time he was involved with the discovery and development of six orebodies. Most recently he held several senior positions with Teck Exploration Ltd. and Teck Corporation as Vice President of Teck Exploration Ltd. and General Manager of Teck Exploration worldwide. Subsequent to his retirement as President of Teck Exploration Ltd. in 2001 he serves as a Director of a number of public mining exploration companies.
Mr. Hean is currently Chief Financial Officer of Quaterra Resources Inc. (QTA on TSX-V and QMM on NYSE-Amex). Previously, for 5 years he was CFO for Manex Resource Group and had held senior management and executive positions with Bank of Montreal as Senior Vice President and Managing Director responsible for financing in the natural resources sectors in North America and with J.P. Morgan of New York, primarily financing junior oil and gas companies in the United StatesHe is a Director of Sabina Silver Corporation (SBB traded on the TSE) and a number of TSX – Venture companies. He is the current Chair, Bill Reid Foundation Services Ltd and has served on numerous other not-for-profit Boards, including Outward Bound and B.C. Children's Hospital. Graduating from Simon Fraser University (B.A.) in 1973 and from the Ivey School of Business (M.B.A.), London, Ontario, in 1975, Mr. Hean, graduated from the Institute of Corporate Directors, Directors Education Program (ICD.D) in 2006.
